Map & directions to the Lonesome Dove B&B
From Bryan / College Station
Take FM 60 west, then turn left onto FM 50. Go south on FM 50 for 18 miles to Independence, then turn right on FM 390. Go 9.3 miles on FM 390 to Hwy 36. Cross Hwy. 36, stay on FM 390 another 4.7 miles to the community of Longpoint. Turn right on Longpoint Road. Go 2.6 miles, then turn right on Rehburg Road.
The Lonesome Dove gate is the 1st gate on your right, about 1000 feet from Longpoint Road. Drive on across the pond dam.
From Austin
Take Hwy 290 east.
At 3.5 miles east of Burton, turn left on FM 1948.
Go north on FM 1948 for 1.9 miles, then turn right on FM 390.
Follow FM 390 for 3.3 miles to the community of Longpoint.
Turn left on Longpoint Road.
Go 2.6 miles on Longpoint Road, then turn right on Rehburg Road.
The Lonesome Dove gate is the 1st gate on your right, about 1000 feet from Longpoint Road. Drive on across the pond dam.
From Houston
Take Hwy. 290 west. At Brenham, continue around the Hwy. 290 loop and connect with Hwy 36 North on the west side of Brenham. Continue north of Brenham on Hwy 36 for 9.4 miles, then turn left at FM 390. Go west on FM 390 for 4.7 miles to the community of Longpoint. Turn right on Longpoint Road. Go 2.6 miles and turn right on Rehburg Road.
